Job Description

Type of Job: 

Full-Time

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The executive director manages administration, finances, and execution of our mission. The executive director is the outward face of the organization to clients, donors, and the public and must have excellent communication skills as well as experience working at a non-profit or related field.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

● Understanding and empathy for those living in poverty
● Administrative skills, fiscal responsibility; tracking of metrics for budgeting, reporting, assessment
● Recruit, retain, and manage volunteers
● Familiarity with low-income assistance programs
● Grant writing experience
● Ensure policy, state, and federal compliance and effective public records management

Other Information/Requirements: 

● Bilingual English/Spanish (not a requirement)
● Valid NM driver’s license; ability to drive own vehicle
● Reports directly to the Board of directors
● Successfully pass background check and drug screening
● Mileage , paid vacation, sick leave, health savings account, health insurance & other benefits negotiable
● 32 - 40 hours a week (negotiable)

There is a Great Need for Housing Repairs in Northern New Mexico.

Many low-income homeowners in Northern New Mexico do not have the financial resources or the skills to make minor repairs to their homes. From Barranca Mesa to Black Mesa – and beyond – our non-profit carefully screens homeowners to identify those who have a need, but lack the resources to make repairs.

Mesa to Mesa provides small home repairs to qualifying low-income homeowners – free of charge.
